To conserve preserve beautify and manage Urban Water Bodies for their well being and Environmental up gradation Conservation of Urban Water Bodies (CUW) project has been started. The project includes conservation works of water bodies like desilting, deweeding, landscaping, watershed development, construction of ghats, garden development, pitching and fencing; public awareness programmes are also done with the objective of sustaining water bodies for future generations.
