  • Vallabh Bhavan Extension Complex Building

Due to increase in number of departments/ministries, along with officers and ministerial staff in all cadres, a shortage of accommodation was felt in the Vallabh Bhawan complex. Hence its expansion had become necessary. Therefore, the Government of MP planned to build an extension complex for the present Secretariat building, commonly known as Vallabh Bhawan in the same vicinity. EPCO was entrusted to provide architectural services and Capital project Administration was the executing agency. The main criteria set for the project was that the overall design should merge aesthetically and harmoniously with existing Vallabh Bhavan, with a beautiful landscape in the whole complex. The total built-up area is 84000 sqmt approx. and the final project cost as per revised administrative approval accorded is approx. Rs. 500 crores. The project was completed in June 2018.

  • National Institute for Research in Environmental Health, Bhopal

The Indian Council of Medical Research (Department of Health Research- Government of India) had planned to develop & build infrastructure for the National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (NIREH) at Bhopal. The project has been executed by Gas Rahat Division of Capital Project Administration Bhopal, and the project cost is approximately Rs. 96.00 corers. On behalf of NIREH, EPCO invited Concept Design proposals from 7 short listed empanelled Architectural firms  and selected the Architect Consultant, M/s ARCONS, Bhopal for the project. The final layout design for NIREH Complex has been developed according to best green building design principles to maximize energy savings and achieve sustainability goals.

  • 100 Chamber District Court Building, Jabalpur

The existing district court building at Jabalpur is very old and in dilapidated state and no extension/modification was possible. For new building; which has to be of 100 court room, site was finalized in PSM Campus Jabalpur. EPCO floated EoI and through its selection process selected M/s Suresh Goel & Associates, New Delhi for the project. The project has been completed and inaugurated by Hon. Chief Justice of India in June 2018.

  • Vikas  Bhawan, Bhopal

Panchayat and Rural Development department of MP comprises of various offices for various project schemes and all these are located at various places. To bring all these offices under one roof, a site was finalized at Arera Hills, Bhopal. Requirements of these various scheme offices were collected and provided to EPCO for selecting an architectural firm. EPCO through its internal process selected M/s Mehta & Associates, Indore for the project. The civil construction work has been completed on site. Interiors and finishing work is on hold due to budgetary issues.   

  • Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishvavidhyalaya, Bhopal

EPCO was entrusted with the job of selecting an Architectural Consultant and provide comprehensive architectural services for the project. Capital Project Administration is the Executing Agency to build the University Campus of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishvavidhyalaya, Bhopal. Selection committee of EPCO selected M/s. Mehta and Associates, Indore as the Architect for the above mentioned project on November 2014. The Concept Design was approved by the University Authorities and the Chief Secretary and was proposed to be constructed in phases. Phase-I construction is complete. Phase-II works are on hold due to unavailability of funds. 

  • Projects of Health & Tribal departments

EPCO had been assigned with the task of various projects of Health Department under the grant of 13th Finance Commission & 11 Eklavya Model Residential Schools for Tribal department (total 61 projects) and the Executing Agency was  PIU PWD. These works had been distributed among 30 Architects of M.P., empanelled with EPCO. Work of many district hospitals have been completed and rest of them are in progress on site.
